WHAT IS THE “COMIC CRYPT”?
This is an online collective of comic strips, stories and mangas created primarily by founder and creator Chris M. Cantrell. The site is a showcase of his vast collection of work spanning over three decades across numerous genres.
COMIC UPDATE STATUS KEY
On the homepage of each comic series in the upper right, you’ll see a status that tells you where the comic currently is with regards to updates. We currently use the following statuses…
UPDATING – This means the comic is currently having new strips added to it’s archive on a regular basis.
ENDED – This means archive updates are complete but what is online is not the entire series. This is usually used for series that had longer runs and managed to release collection books. To read the complete series, you’ll need to pick up it’s collection book(s).
COMPLETE / ENDED – This means archive updates are complete and what is posted is the entirety of what we have for that series.
OUR RATING SYSTEM
We have developed a rating system to help readers gauge their interest in our content before beginning to read it. While we try to apply these guidelines in a clear and consistent way, they are based on our internal subjective assessments and are meant for general guidance only. We can not guarantee uniform application and they should not be considered the equivalent of any regulatory standard.
